History

The Brooks & District Health Foundation was founded in 1996 and has been dedicated to serving the community by managing donations that continue to enhance local health care at the Brooks Health Centre and throughout our community.

The Foundation is excited to announce that we have added historical scrapbooks to our website, so we can share the amazing results of this community’s investment in enhancing local health care.

The original scrapbooks were created over the years by Dorothy Orr, Loretta Darago, and Betty Blackwell, on behalf of the community we thank them for their dedication and generosity in perceiving this history. We would also like to thank our 2023 summer student Cassidy Rose for bringing us into the digital era.

We hope you all enjoy a look back at the great things we have done together to make a difference in our community.
